Garcetti helps make COVID-19 protective equipment at USC Iovine and Young Academy

The Los Angeles mayor toured the 3D printing facility at the USC Jimmy Iovine and Andre Young Academy, where high-tech machinery is used to produce equipment for health care workers fighting the pandemic.

Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti on Sunday visited the USC Jimmy Iovine and Andre Young Academy, where 3D printers are producing badly needed Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) for front-line healthcare workers fighting the COVID-19 pandemic. Watch as the mayor sees the 3D printing equipment at work and even tries his hand in making face shields.
