Thursday night football returns to Coliseum
With classes in session, there will be some changes from a usual football Saturday
Thursday night football returns to the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum this week, as the Trojans take on the California Golden Bears. It’s only the second time USC has played a non-Thanksgiving or non-bowl Thursday game in the Coliseum.
Since classes will be in session and the university will operate on its normal Thursday schedule, there will be some changes from a typical Saturday home game:
Parking
- Football game attendees will not be allowed to use on-campus lots.
- Parking is available at the USC Parking Center (Jefferson Boulevard at Grand Avenue), USC Parking Structure 1 (Exposition Boulevard and Figueroa Street), USC Parking Structure 2 (Flower Street and Exposition) and the Shrine Auditorium lot (32nd and Royal streets).
- The Los Angeles Convention Center’s Venice lot (Figueroa and Venice Boulevard) will be available for $15, including a complimentary shuttle to and from the Coliseum.
Tailgating
- Tailgating and picnicking will not be permitted on campus.
- Tailgating at the Coliseum and Exposition Park will be allowed as on a normal game day after 2:30 p.m.
Trojan Family Weekend
- The Thursday game is part of the Trojan Family Weekend festivities. Find out more at the USC Office for Parent Programs.
Tickets
- Tickets are available for $45-$120 and can be purchased online.
