Special Media Access Instructions for Event Celebrating Upcoming Football Game Versus Crosstown Rival UCLA
When: The evening of Thursday, November 29, 2007
What: “Conquest!” — the University of Southern California’s annual student pep rally, held in advance of the USC-UCLA football game
Where: McCarthy Quad, USC University Park Campus
Description: About 10,000 USC students and other Trojan fans will gather for a festival that will include USC football players and coaches, the USC Song Girls, comedian Judson Laipply, a live performance by the rock band The Bravery, a bonfire, fireworks and a Ferris wheel.
Media Access: Space is limited. Television crews are asked to RSVP to (213) 740-2215 by Wednesday, November 28.
Event Start Time: 6:00 p.m.
Special Parking Arrangements: On-campus parking for broadcast vehicles is on Childs Way. Enter at Gate 2 (Exposition Boulevard, just west of Figueroa Street). Show media credentials for access.
