An-Min Wu, Ph.D., is a lecturer in the Spatial Sciences Institute at the University of Southern California Dornsife College of Letters, Arts and Sciences. Wu teaches advanced GIS courses in spatial databases, spatial econometrics, spatial data acquisition, spatial data analysis, and GIS project management in the online Geographic Information Science and Technology (GIST) and Human Security and Geospatial Intelligence (HSGI) graduate programs, the residential Spatial Economic and Data Analysis (SEDA) program, and the interdisciplinary doctoral program in Population, Health and Place. She also serves as the faculty advisor for the online Master of Public Health (MPH) – GeoHealth track.
Wu’s research interests are in the integration of environmental sustainability and geographic information science. In particular, she is interested in understanding the impacts of human disturbances on soil properties in both natural and urban environments, and their feedback on human health, and environmental & economic sustainability.
