2025 New Deans

Abrams joins the USC Suzanne Dworak-Peck School of Social Work after spending more than 30 years documenting and improving the well-being of incarcerated youth and young adults.

The clinician-scientist, who is the school’s associate dean of research, has been serving as interim dean.

The astrophysicist and champion of interdisciplinary learning comes to USC from the University of California, Irvine, where he is dean of the School of Physical Sciences.
