9/11 Memorial Installation Ceremony at USC on Thursday Sept. 11

WHAT: The top of an I-beam of the World Trade Center will be installed next to the USC Department of Public Safety as a memorial.
The steel was donated by the September 11th Families’ Association and the Fire Department of New York.
The steel measures 11 inches x 18 inches x 2 inches and is over 100 pounds. It will be placed on a stand with lights and a plaque.
The event is sponsored by USC Office of Religious Life, USC Department of Public Safety and USC Facilities Management.
WHEN: 6 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 11.
