Two Trojans share how they’ve changed, grown and flourished in four years
We first met Sam Hardy and Hunter Harper in August 2016, the day before they moved to USC as freshmen. Now, the two new graduates talk about their journeys as they meet each other for the first time.

Sam Hardy and Hunter Harper are among the more than 19,000 Trojans whose degrees were conferred Friday in a first-of-its-kind celebration. The new graduates — who we last visited with as they were about to start their USC journeys — sat down to talk about what they’re up to, how they’ve changed and how their class coped with the unexpected when the COVID-19 pandemic hit.
