Did you know? USC and Minnesota: Longtime collaborators
Though the two schools’ football teams haven’t met in over 14 years, the universities have collaborated on several projects and seminars since then.
USC football is 6-1-1 against Minnesota, with the last matchup held in 2011, when the Trojans edged out the Golden Gophers 19-17. Though the two teams haven’t met in over 14 years, the universities have collaborated on several projects and seminars since then.
Just last year, USC Gould School of Law Professor Jonathan Choi partnered with two University of Minnesota Law professors — Daniel Schwarcz and Amy Monahan — to publish a study on the impact of artificial intelligence on legal work. The study — “Lawyering in the Age of Artificial Intelligence” — found that access to and basic training on AI, led to increased speed on lawyering tasks such as drafting memos, contracts, complaints and employee handbooks without sacrificing quality.
USC travels to Minneapolis to take on Minnesota on Saturday, Oct. 5. Kickoff is at 4:30 p.m. PT (TV: Big Ten Network; radio: KSPN-AM 710).
