Ghana president visits USC to tout ‘Made in Ghana’ campaign

John Dramani Mahama touts nation’s exports — from cacao to gold — during Annenberg stop

USC is no stranger to world leaders, and the list of visitors grew by one Oct. 1 with a visit by President John Dramani Mahama of Ghana. The president — formerly the nation’s minister of communication, and holder of a master’s in communication studies — visited the USC Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism to discuss his nation and its exports. The visit was arranged by the USC Center on Public Diplomacy.
