USC Dornsife political economy major Sam Deutsch will take part in the shows College Championship
Get ready for Jeopardy! College Championship. The two-week tournament begins Feb. 1 and USC has a contestant in the race for the $100,000 grand prize.
Sam Deutsch a junior from Bethesda, Md., majoring in political economy at the USC Dornsife College of Letters, Arts and Sciences is one of 15 undergraduates to reach the quarterfinals this season.

A former high school Quiz Bowl ace, Deutsch is the fourth Trojan to compete in the tournament since Jeopardy! College Championship began in 1988.
He faces contestants from Northwestern and Mississippi State universities Feb. 3. The show airs locally at 7 p.m. on KABC-TV (Channel 7).
