Planning Commission Hearing on “The Village at USC” Project

The proposed mixed-use redevelopment, the largest undertaken by the university and one of the largest in Los Angeles in recent years, will create an estimated 8,900 jobs and up to 3,000,000 square feet of community-serving retail, student housing and academic space, replacing the current USC-owned University Village.

May 07, 2012

  • Provide up to 350,000 square feet of retail serving both the USC campus and the community, including at least one grocery store, several sit-down restaurants, a food court, shops and services

  • Accomplish all of the above without public land, public subsidies or public funds.
