Trojan Katinka Hosszu wins third gold medal
She’s in good company: USC has produced more Olympians, more overall medalists and more gold medalists than any other U.S. university
USC Hungarian great Katinka Hosszu won her third gold medal on Tuesday night, this time in the 200-meter individual medley with an Olympic record time of 2:06.58.
Hosszu previously won gold medals in the 100-meter backstroke and the 400-meter individual medley with a world record.
The swimmer has one event remaining, the 200 backstroke, giving her the chance to tie the East German Kristin Ottos mark of four individual golds.
